This policy applies to everyone who uses sundaria.com.au, members of participating organisations, partners, and anyone who contacts us.

1. Who we are

Sundaria is a private, invitation only community for organisations and their people. In this policy, “Sundaria”, “we” and “us” mean the company that operates Sundaria and sundaria.com.au.

We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

2. What we collect

Details you give us: your name, email, phone, organisation and role.

Membership records: which participating organisation you belong to, your membership level, your points balance and your Inner Circle tier.

Points claims: the receipt or product photo you upload, what you bought, where you bought it and the amount spent.

Role enquiries: the details you send when you register interest in a role on the Earn page.

Event records: the events and experiences you are invited to and attend.

Website data: pages visited, device and browser type, collected through cookies and analytics.

3. How we collect it

Mostly from you, through the forms on this site, by email and at events.

Some comes from your organisation, which confirms that you are one of its people so your membership can be activated.

4. Why we collect it

To confirm and run your membership, credit and track points, decide your tier, invite you to events and experiences, respond to your enquiries and role applications, and improve the site.

We will only use your information for another purpose with your consent, or where the law allows it.

5. Who we share it with

Your organisation, to confirm your membership and, where you apply for a role, to progress that application.

Partners, only to the extent needed to give you a member offer you have chosen to use.

Service providers who host this site, send our emails or store our records, under confidentiality obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

6. Sundaria Life, Bopple and Stan

Products and services on Sundaria Life are ordered and paid for on Bopple or Stan. When you follow a link to them, you leave this site and their own privacy policies apply to what you give them.

Allied health and other services booked through Sundaria Life are delivered by the provider, who is responsible for any health information they collect.

7. Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Access is limited to people who need it to do their job.

Some of our service providers may store information outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure it is handled in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

We keep information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires, and then delete or de-identify it.

8. Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies and Google Analytics to understand how it is used. The data is aggregated and is not used to identify you. You can turn cookies off in your browser settings.

9. Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing privacy@sundaria.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.

If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, email us first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
